 Greetings!

Wow!  So We've made it to 2009!  I can't believe how quickly this year has gone by!  Hopefully everyone has rung in the New Year on a joyous note.  Alpha Dressage has lots of clinics and events planned for this year, as well as lots of ideas for just having fun... like a trail ride (BYOH... Bring Your Own Horse)... tailgating at a Polo Match... and a monthly Trivia Contest with prizes included... so come on over to a meeting and join the crew!

The Prez Says...

Hi Everyone,

I hope that you all had a very Merry Christmas and all of the best for the coming New Year.

My favorite meeting is coming up, the ever exciting unwanted Christmas gift exchange. do not worry, I have a few

left over from last year. Get creative and remember the  bigger is not always better in this case.

Our Christmas meeting at Martha's house was great. Wonderful food and the best of drinks, fun was had by all.

We have lots of events coming up:

Tom Neagle Clinic,    January 17th and 18th

Ride a Test with Susan Woods

Lots of Schooling Shows and some shows at Fox Lea, as well as our ever popular Double Delight!

Til then, Keep Riding!

Betty

Blast From The Past...

A letter from Dan Bechler

   Greetings from beautiful Colorado!

Just had the urge to say Hello to everyone back there in Sarasota, I miss all of you and have very fond memories of my life there, and the horse community especially.

Most of you know I left rather abruptly for personal reasons, the best thing I ever did in my life! I truly love it here, it felt like this is where I belong since the day I got here. I live about 30 mins S/W of Denver in Evergreen, up in the mtns., breathtaking scenery, have 8 acres in a mtn. valley.

Gave up horses and women when I moved here and yes OK it lasted about 6 months!

I now have 5 on the property, own 2, board 2, and 1 in training. I also train just part time now at a nearby barn where I have about a dozen clients.

Life is wonderful, endless beautiful places to visit and ride, I've shown and done a lot of things on horses but trail riding out here is by far the best!

We actually have 4 seasons here, the winters are not as bad as I heard, it snows one day and the next its gone, and cantering thru the fresh powder is awesome! I've also taken up snowboarding, sometimes wish winter was longer!

Have'nt been bitten by a mosquito since I got here, no fleas, ticks, cockroaches, or rats in the feed room either!

If anyone is ever out to Denver I would love to see you,

My phone # is 303-704-7170, and email is Thebesthorseman@yahoo.com

I send best wishes to everyone!

   Sincerely,

   Dan Bechler
